The Wales TUC Pan Equality conference 2009 was held on the 9th December at Liberty Stadium, Swansea. The conference was attended by 76 delegates from trade unions and third sector.
The following organisations provided information stalls:
Welsh Assembly Government Public Appointments, Women’s Aid, EHRC, Chwarae Teg, Journeys, NHS CEHR, Open University, Stonewall Cymru, NUS Wales, Wales TUC Learning Services.
The conference was funded by the Welsh Assembly Government through the Wales Development Fund for Unions and is part of a year-long equality project funded by WAG.
The aim of the conference was to touch on a range of equality and human rights issues that affect union members and reps and to raise awareness of other important issues that the trade union movement can have a role in influencing change on.
The conference report and pdf documents of the speaker slideshows can be found along the right hand side of this page. Word versions of the slides are available on request.
